在农历新年的钟声即将敲响之际，我们迎来了乙巳蛇年的到来。在此，我们代表国际教育学院向学院全体中外学生以及关心和支持我们的朋友们致以最诚挚的新春祝福！
过去的一年里，我们共同书写了无数精彩的篇章。学院持续推动国际教育智慧教学实训平台、视觉传达设计留学生智慧教室、古琴弦歌基地建设，在新的一年里它们将助力我们的线上线下教育教学，为同学们打造沉浸式学习体验。学院开设的《Principles of Management》《College Physics》两门课程获批天津市一流本科建设课程，并成为国家智慧教育公共服务平台线上课程。
国际教育学院不仅致力于提供高质量的教育教学服务，还积极组织各类丰富多彩的文化交流活动，促进不同文化间的相互理解和尊重。这一年，我们一起庆祝端午、中秋、春节等中华传统节日，体验形式多样的中国传统习俗；这一年，我们一起参与全国大学生“乡村振兴·青春笃行”计划，荣获全国示范性团队；这一年，我们一起参加19届中国大学生跆拳道锦标赛（北方赛区），荣获甲组女子第五名；这一年，我们一起参加第六届“诵读中国”经典诵读大赛（天津赛区），获得三等奖；这一年，我们一起承办2024年中国寻根之旅天津城建大学营、第四届“国际文化节”，为中外学生搭建文化交流的平台，让中外文化美美与共。
蛇，在中华文化中象征着智慧与灵动。正如其特性一样，我们也期待在新的一年里，每一位同学都能够展现出机智灵活、勇于探索的精神面貌，迎接新的挑战并抓住每一个机遇。对于国际教育学院的每一位留学生，这将是一个深入体验中国文化、结交来自世界各地朋友的好机会；而对于国际教育学院的每一位中国学生，则是拓宽视野、提升跨文化交流能力的良好契机。
让我们携手共进，积极响应国家“一带一路”发展倡议，在新的一年里继续发扬“勤奋学习、积极向上”的优良传统，落实学校“品牌强校”行动方案，打造天城大“国际教育”品牌，共同创造更加辉煌的成绩。最后，祝愿同学们所愿皆所成，多喜乐、长安宁。
Dear students,
At this moment when the bell is about to ring for the Chinese New Year (Year of the Snake), on behalf of School of International Education, we would like to extend our sincerest Spring Festival Greetings to you all, both Chinese and International students, and to all our friends who care for and support us.
In the past year, we have many splendid memory together. The School set up the International Smart Teaching Platform, the Visual Communication Design Intelligent Classroom, and Base of Guqin Songs, which will make contribution to the online and offline education of the School, providing immersive learning experiences for all students in the new year. Two of our courses, Principles of Management and College Physics, were recognized as first-class undergraduate courses in Tianjin, which all courses resource are available on the the National Smart Education Platform.
The School is not only committed to providing high-quality education and teaching services, but also dedicated to organizing a wide range of cultural exchange activities that foster mutual understanding and respect between different cultures. In 2024, we celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Spring Festival and other traditional Chinese festivals together, and experienced various traditional Chinese customs; it was in this year when we participated in the Rural Revitalization and Youth Practice Program and won the title as National Demonstrative Team; it was in this year when we took part in the 19th China University Taekwondo Championship (North Division) and rank the top five in the Female Group A; it was in this year when we took part in the Sixth Recitation in China Classic Recitation Contest (Tianjin Division) and won the Third Prize; it was also in this year when we organized the 2024 China Root-seeking Trip TCU Camp and the Fourth International Cultural Festival so as to build a platform for cultural exchanges between Chinese and foreign students and showcase the aesthetic beauty shared by both Chinese and foreign cultures.
In Chinese culture, the snake symbolizes wisdom and agility. Just as the snake embodies these qualities, we hope that in the coming year, each of you will show the same cleverness, flexibility, and curiosity. May you embrace new challenges and seize every opportunity. For our international students, this is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourselves in Chinese culture and make friends from all corners of the world. For our Chinese students, this is a perfect chance to broaden your perspectives and enhance your cross-cultural communication skills.
Let us continue to move forward together, actively responding to the Belt and Road Initiative. In the year ahead, let us uphold the fine traditions of hard work and a proactive attitude, implement plan of TCU Branding Activities, and achieve even greater success as one community.
